Clear View located in Charleston, South Carolina had a desire to reach shoppers in a more practical way. Clear View’s main goal was to deliver powerful communication that influences buying decisions. Clear View started out using digital signage with small screens on rickshaws and on small screens in golf carts. This in itself was a very unique way to start off doing digital signage, but it lends itself to a very captive audience. Soon Clear View wanted to expand its advertising network into food court’s in two local shopping malls, and to expand into other areas like the Charleston Airport as they grew. MMS came up with a solution for an enterprise digital signage system, Coolsign, to meet their needs. MMS accomplished this by mounting multiple displays around the food court, the picture and video advertisements where they are easily seen in high traffic areas of the mall. These displays include scrolling text information that dynamically comes from things like Google spreadsheets which the advertiser can update easily and be able to always have fresh information on their ad. Have these new screens in two malls and now in the local airport has helped Clear View reach more people and become a more valuable advertising medium in the Charleston area.
Clearview needed a solid digital signage solution to run in a variety of locations from airports to food courts. The system had to be a stable solution that could be controlled remotely and the server hosted by Multi-Media Solutions.
