Cooperative Purchasing allows state and local government to make purchases under the GSA Information Technology (IT) Schedule 70, the GSA Security Schedule 84, and from contracts under the Consolidated Schedule that contain IT special item numbers (SINs). Cooperative Purchasing is unique in that it does not place restrictions on the type of purchase – state and local government may make purchases under Schedule 70, Schedule 84, and IT SINs under the Consolidated Schedule at any time, for any reason.
