What would your dream conference/presentation room have in it? You might want it to be totally automated - lights, audio, projection equipment, electronic screen- at the touch of a control panel, processes would be put in motion. Depending on the purpose of the meeting, multiple video and data would display, either by projection onto a screen (maybe even rear-projected!) or perhaps a brilliant plasma display panel would take the place of projector and screen. An electronic whiteboard would store, display, and save and share everything written on it, digitally. Maybe a videoconference system would spring to life, bringing remote attendees into the room; or crisp, clear teleconferencing would be the method for conferring with distant points. A visual presenter/document camera would stand ready to project objects, paper or transparencies from its lighted stage. Music, narration, and other audio would be evenly and clearly audible from all points in the room. Everything would be remote controlled. Consoles, cabinets, lecterns and stands would be functional and attractive, and feature-rich.
