MULTI-MEDIA SOLUTIONS, INC. IS AWARDED A SECOND GSA SCHEDULE CONTRACT

Covering an even more comprehensive array of MMS’s high-tech audio visual technology, the additional GSA contract simplifies procurement by Federal and Military agencies.

ALCOA & BRENTWOOD, TN: Multi-Media Solutions has now been awarded a second GSA contract.

The GSA schedule offers benefits to purchasers including lower administration costs, shorter lead times, and volume discount pricing for high quality services, which is the type of streamlining that government and military clients need.

This contract award, under GSA Schedule 36 (Imaging and Document Solutions for the office), covers Projection Screens including all related accessories, Multimedia Projectors and accessories, Interactive Electronic Whiteboard technology and related accessories, and most importantly, Needs Assessments and Analysis services for complex systems. MMS’s other GSA contract, a schedule 58, covers another wide range of A/V technology.

The latest GSA contract award enables MMS to offer a much more comprehensive range of audio visual products, systems, and services to the federal government. Under the terms of these federal schedules MMS is pre-qualified to provide agencies with a broad range of audio visual system integration services for an initial 5-year period, and three 5-year renewal options, for a total of 20 years. Based on a rigorous vendor qualification process, the award enables federal government agencies to procure MMS’s services directly at competitive, pre-negotiated rates, bypassing the traditional and often lengthy RFP procedure. Multi-Media Solutions’ CEO Mike White states, “The work our team has put into qualifying for these GSA contracts creates a win/win situation for us AND our government clients – we are very easy to buy from, and that is good for us both.”

Jennifer Stafford, CTS, is the sales engineer who specializes in GSA purchases, but the entire sales team is very familiar with GSA procedures.

“This newest GSA contract is the result of MMS’s ability to meet the needs of our government clients, another milestone in the growth of MMS as a premier Pro A/V system integrator.” said Kathy Huber, Director of Marketing for Multi-Media Solutions, Inc. “By being pre-approved as a resource for our government, we can offer our existing clients a flexible, streamlined way to purchase our services, and ensure new clients a standard of performance, customer service and pricing.”

Multi-Media Solutions has been providing audio visual technology and systems integration to government clients for over 17 years, including the TN Air National Guard Base at McGhee Tyson Airport in Knoxville, several installations for the Army Corps of Engineers in Nashville, and at locations in all 4 branches of the military, the IRS , various state Departments of Transportation and an impressive list of other state, federal, and military clients. MMS also has designed recent installations into Blue Ridge Properties LLC, Knoxville Tourism & Sports Corp’s. Market Square headquarters, the Gatlinburg Convention Center, King Pharmaceuticals, and the new UT Football Hall of Fame! MMS’s corporate office is in Alcoa, with an additional sales office in Brentwood, TN. MMS is an affiliate of the USAV Group, the largest national Pro A/V consortium, and Mike White, CEO, is a Governor-at-Large for Infocomm International.
