ICD-5000
The ICD-5000 uses the same hardware and software as the ICD-300, but it was developed for applications that demand very high resolution. The 5 megapixel USB 2.0 camera takes print quality screen shots, and it lets you display a large image whose resolution is limited only by the screen of the handheld device.
Ideal uses for the ICD-5000 include:
| |
• Screen shots for print marketing materials or documentation |
| |
• Sales calls where high resolution is required |
| |
• Large screen displays at trade shows and other events |
| |
• Displaying forensic evidence in the courtroom |
|
Upgrade options
If you already own the ICD-300, you can upgrade the camera without having to purchase the hardware again. Simply buy the upgrade package for $195, swap out the camera and holder, and install the new camera drivers.
